Grilling chicken with simple ingredients

For this recipe for two, you don’t need any exotic ingredients, just things that are available in most households anyway:

  • 1 medium-sized kitchen-ready chicken (whole, about 1.5 kg)
  • 5 tablespoons of beer
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Recipe for grilled chicken from the oven: the preparation

Place a large fireproof pan on a rack in the lower third of the oven and preheat it to 180 degrees Celsius. While the oven and pan are heating up, wash the chicken off with water and pat it dry. Those who pay attention to calories can remove visible fat.

Mix the other ingredients in the recipe into a marinade. This is brushed onto the skin of the chicken using a kitchen brush. Then the prepared bird wanders up into the hot pan in the preheated oven. Grill the chicken for about 45 minutes, then it should be through.

The perfect chicken: grill and serve directly

After you have taken the chicken out of the oven, tip it in the pan so that the gravy can flow out of the inside. Place the grilled chicken on a large board to cut it open.
